TikTok stopped being a platform just for dancing and lip-syncing kids. For quite a long time now it’s becoming more and more popular place to advertise your business and create an image of expert and professional. How it can help your brand?
Intruduce yourself
It’s always worth starting with a brief introduction but remember about quite a few rules. First of all, start with a hook to make your audience stop scrolling their feed. Make the video short and interesting by adding jump cuts. Include only basic information and put the rest in the caption. Don’t forget to put the Call To Action and redirect people to your Instagram, website, blog or just ask them to follow your profile.
Give (a bit) of knowledge
Sharing free knowledge is one of the most efficient way of building an engaged community in every platform. TikTok is no different. Make sure your videos are short and contain only basics – the rest you may publish for free on your blog or convert it into e-product to sell on your website (e-book, consultation, online course, etc.).
Show your work
TikTok can perfectly work as an interactive portfolio. If you’re a photographer, movie creator, graphic designer or work in any branch that allows you to show your work on a video, you should totally do it!Look for inspiration throughout the platform and think of a creative and engaging way to present your previous work to the public.

Show behind the scenes
Every branch has its own inside jokes or struggles. TikTok is a perfect place to share them in a funny way so others can relate with your everyday situations. These can include customer service experience, common problems or just some of your procedures that makes your work easier (for example how does your client onboarding look like).
Be consistent
It doesn’t matter what type of videos have you planned for your brand, just publish them regularly. There’s nothing worse for TikTok account then disappearing for a few days or weeks and then show up with multiple videos at once. Have in mind, that TikToks are usually short and not demanding in production so you can prepare more then one at the same time to publish them later according to your schedule.
The last but not least – you need to know that growing successful business account on TikTok (like on any other platform) takes time. You have to think about it as a long-termin investment of your time and resources but if you stick to the tips I gave you, I promise that after a few months you’ll start to notice a huge difference. Good luck!
