Canva Create 20222 took place in September. It was a huge, global event when Canva creators introduced and announced new features that are going to be launched in the app. Event lasted 90 minutes and I’m going to tell you about most significant changes.
Canva websites
The biggest change is fact that Canva Websites went out of beta. Now you can create your business website directly in Canva and launch it on free Canva hosting (either on Canva domain or your own). With launching websites, function of sharing website template came back and now it’s possible to sell Canva website templates to your customers. Removing background from a video
When some time ago Canva launched removing background from photos, creators were just thrilled. Now they got crazy because they have the possibility to remove background from videos they upload to Canva library. It works basically as post-production green screen. This feature works pretty well and I’m sure will be getting more and more popular.
New print on demand products
Canva is constantly starting cooperation with many printing companies that allow you to produce your own print on demand products. Now more than 35 printable items are available through Canva Print service. Printing within Canva is easy – you get personal tips to achieve the best quality, lowering the risk of printing the design in wrong size.
Canva Docs launched in beta
This is going to be brand new method to create visually attractive documents that can be easily shared among team members (if you have Canva Pro – stay till the end to get your 30-day trial). Thanks to docs and its text formatting options, you can create to-do lists, presentations, charts and many more!
Canva Creators programme launched
Now you can register as Canva Creator and earn your money on sharing your graphic elements and designs through Canva Library. You can apply any moment, send your portfolio and wait for application review. You can check the details of the programme here. Canva launched also beta of Canva API that allows developers to create their own applications and integrations within Canva.
